Chairman
Jim is a senior executive with over 16 years’ experience and a record of superior results in a variety of challenging and multicultural environments. A strong foundation in hospitality coupled with visionary leadership has propelled Jim across diverse industries. He commenced his career as Director/Chief Executive of A & J Holdings (2005-2011), transitioning to Director/ Group General Manager of the Namba Wan Trophy Limited Group of Companies (NWTL) in 2011 and in 2017. After becoming the Group Chairman in 2025, he has been rebranding the organization and growing the apparel, mobile telecommunication, realtor and construction, security, food and beverage industries.
Group Chief Executive Officer- NWTL
Gavin assumed the role of the Group Chief Executive Officer for the NWTL Group of companies in Sept 2025. Having previously held Senior Operations roles in both PNG and Australia’s largest retailers for over 30 years; Gavin brings a deep understanding of delivering large scale turnaround projects, strategic alignment programs, and bringing to life long-term business objectives. With a pedigree of working in and leading businesses like Brian Bell, Harvey Norman, Joyce Mayne, Coles Supermarkets and Bunnings, combined with a recent Post Graduate Degree from the University of Melbourne; Gavin is poised to support the group’s future growth strategies.
General Manager
Dave Sherlock brings many years of experience in security, both from around the world including New Zealand, the Middle East and Pacific region. With the last 10 years working in Papua New Guinea, Dave is accustomed to the local security conditions and the challenges that all business face in keeping their people and facilities safe. Dave is excited by the opportunity to lead Force Security with the aim of delivering “First class service” to existing clients and prospective clients across the country. With an existing security footprint in Port Moresby, Lae, and Mt Hagen, Dave sees the potential for Force Security to expand further across the beautiful PNG nation and looks forward to developing strong relationships with stakeholders and staff in the coming years and making Force your “Namba Wan In Security”.
